Honest repairs that save your original windows.
A rotten sill or a rattling sash does not mean the whole window is finished. In most cases the decay is local, and the rest of the timber, often slow grown wood far better than anything available today, is perfectly sound.
I cut out only what has failed and splice in new matching timber, keeping as much of the original window as possible. It is better for the house, better for the planet and usually much better for your wallet.

For repairs where cutting out timber is not the best answer, I am an approved installer of the Timbabuild epoxy resin repair system. It bonds structurally with the timber, flexes with the seasons and takes paint perfectly.
One of my repairs was featured as a Timbabuild Project of the Month.

Every repair starts with a free survey so you know exactly what is needed and what it will cost. I work cleanly, protect your rooms and leave each window decorated, balanced and gliding as it should.
Where sills have gone completely, I let in new hardwood sills shaped to match the originals, with vents and drips formed exactly as the old ones were.
